Monday, Sept 7 At Sea

Woke up to rough seas, glad I had my sea sickness patches, especially last night in the Theater. Went for breakfast, and discovered land on both sides of the ship. We were going through the strait between Scicily and mainland Italy. Afterwords just open sea as we head for Crete. Had lunch, took a nap. Got to store up energy for tour on Crete, Greece tomorrow. People keep trying to sell us stuff on the ship. Beverage packages. Only ice tea, water, coffee are free. Then there are four specialty restaurants, which you pay for. They push those. Then they push the three or four pay for add one, for the dining room. On formal night used to be you could get them for free! (Lobster, filet Minon)  First Formal night tonight. We will skip, as we did not bring our fancy duds.Went to the Theater for male quartet, very good voices.
