Day 5, Marksburg Castle, koblenz

Started the day with a coach ride to Marksburg Castle. Steps into castle carved into the slate rock. To let dumped directly outside, down hill! The ship meet us upstream. Slow going for ship, as there is very little water in the river. At times there was as little as a foot of water underneath. Lots of barges for the captain to work around. Spent the afternoon onthetop deck looking at towns and castles along the shore. In the evening we went into Rudesheim for a dinner program and dancing. Sat with 6 women from the U.S.
