Still have not figured out how to continue writing after posting pictures. Anyway, first picture is at Portovenere. We did laundry, the wash machine was hidden behind a door next to the sink. Next to it under the stove is what we think is an oven, below that the tiniest dish washer we have ever seen. Does anyone know the symbols mean? We figured out the key symbol means the door is locked. The line in and down in a circle? A full looking tub, and the letter e. Then there is the problem of three liquid dispensers! Second load just put the soap on an article of clothing and stuck it in. A smart person probably would have looked up Phillips/ whirlpool and looked for information.
The food is what was described as Shrimp with pence. The pasta tasted okay, a little tough, probably over cook my pasta. But what on earth are these? Look like a cross between a lobster and a shrimp or crawdad? Weird tried to eat them, but not much white meat. And I am sorry, not eating guts!
